Some people just love to shop. Others would prefer to have a root canal rather than set foot inside a mall. Alta Vista made a foray into the online commerce arena with its Shopping.com portal.

It makes perfect sense. For those who already enjoy browsing and buying, buying, buying...it's the way to go and not get tired feet. For those of us who think they'd prefer the whrrrrrr of the oral surgeon's drill, at least the idea of shopping is a bit less painful.
