Second perhaps only to that of television in terms of visual impact (although a cracking good radio spot can create vivid pictures in the imagination). And while a stunning image should stop readers in their tracks, without a strong message to convey information, feelings, solutions to life’s problems and the command to take action, it’s only a pretty picture.
